Sid and Frankie had a grueling first few weeks of 2018 so they decided to take a bath on January 31 to wash away all problems, bothersome tics and events they wanted to release. Then they stayed up to see the Super Blood Moon as a passage into the new year. If you did not see it. So sorry. But we still wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Happy that you got to see the super blue blood moon. Couldn’t see that here. Condolences on the passing of your loved one. RIP.
Thanks Karen. Yes, that was a hard one. For those of you who are reading this and wonder, my mother died a few weeks ago. That was a big part of Fiddlehead being on hold. Hopefully, we are back on track.
I actually had a hard time seeing the Blood Moon myself. Kept looking up while I was delivering newspapers. At aprox. 5 am the moon peeked out from behind the clouds with a sort of flower shape window. I almost took a picture of it but nobody would believe it. Otherwise, it was just too cloudy and I didn’t see it. The morning itself was beautiful and fresh. There was a time where the clouds were a little pink but not sure it was that or my wishes!
I’m sad to hear about your mother, L. That’s a big hit. I hope you are healing.
Based on the latest Fiddlehead episode — you seem to be in top form. I love your art: the attention to detail . . . the final panel is exquisite. oxxo chris
Thank you Chris. Still my heart and it warms all over again.
Your mother was a wonderful woman. She did such wonderful things in her lifetime. I’m so happy to have gotten to meet her and spend a little time with her.
That is so neat you were out and saw some of the lunar eclipse. I was up and was checking but only saw clouds.
Thanks Maggi, I actually saw very little of it. Almost like Mum parted the clouds for a little glimpse.
